This one is an OG. I try to give it a watch every October.
I know this generation doesn’t really give the older movies a chance. We’re spoiled to the new age of more realistic gore and just better screen quality so I can understand how older movies seem less appealing for most.
Just remember to always give homage to your roots and for the time these older movies were released, these movies were considered spectacular and game changing to the genre.
Anyways.
Sleepaway Camp is about two cousins that attend a camp where accidents and murders keep occurring.
And that’s straight to the point, just like the movie.
This is a funny and interesting watch when it comes to the dialogue. It has some of the best insults I’ve ever heard.
The movie is pretty profane and has some great kills and practical effects.
Give it a watch. I think it holds up for a great horror movie and it’s not that long of a watch.
Currently streaming on peacock.
