Fever House (2023)

Keith Rosson

Fever House had me hooked from the very beginning. I love horror movies but I’ve never expanded into the horror genre for reading. Except for the Goosebumps series because it’s super metal.

This one is a horror thriller and I loved it from the first page.

The book starts with two henchmen attempting to collect a debt for their boss. At the site they find an evil, severed hand that causes anyone within radius to frenzy with murderous thoughts and actions.

While trying to contain the hand and the messes it causes, they are followed by agents from a private government branch in pursue of the hand for their own reasons.

It ascends into chaos from there.

There are multiple characters that the POV switches from throughout the book. Each character has a detailed past and are complex to get attached fairly quickly.

The book also switches perspective from the present and past, keeping the pace moving for the reader. This kept me locked in.

It’s a very intriguing read with a lot of WTF moments.

Thank you Scott for randomly sending this to me.
